Credits: Iris sanguinea, photo provided by C. Lankow. (D. Kramb, 19-DEC-04)

Comments: This is 'Sorak Blue' a cultivar wild collected in Korea. It is interesting to note that it lacks the red spathes which this species was named after (sanguinea=bloody). (D. Kramb, 19-DEC-04)

However the spathes are not brown or witherd as I believe they might be on Iris sibirica (Peter Taggart (UK), 05-JUN-12)

Add new information to photo #6 for Iris-sanguinea.
